Company ProfileFounded by Tom Scarborough in 1950, Tom's Tree Place has recently celebrated it's 55th anniversary! Now with the help of his three sons and various other family members and friends, Tom's Tree Place continues to thrive in the field of Landscape Architecture, Landscape Construction, retail, plant material and more. "Landscape architecture encompasses the analysis, planning, design, management, and stewardship of the natural and built environments. Landscape architectural projects include design of public parks, site planning for commercial and residential properties, land reclamation, urban and community design, and historic preservation." - ASLA The members of Tom's Tree Place's design team all have the degree of Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University and belong to the American Society of Landscape Architects. Another important aspect of Tom's Tree Place is our construction. Because we are a design-build firm we are able to completely install our designs for you. Tom's Tree Place takes pride in our plant material. Being a full nursery we are able to furnish a great deal of our own plants. We have over 150 acres of growing grounds on which a large variety of specimen plant materials are grown. Stop by the nursery sometime and check out our large selection of herbicides and pesticides, as well as fertilizer and garden tools.
